Privacy policy

Template. This privacy policy must be completed and reviewed by a lawyer before launch. Places to fill in are highlighted.

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data is full company name or personal name, registered address, e-mail: e-mail address for data protection matters.

2. What data we process

  • e-mail address and password hash (account),
  • a hashed device identifier (HWID), computer name, Windows and launcher version (key protection),
  • IP address and the country derived from it (security, statistics),
  • logs and crash reports sent by the launcher (technical support),
  • the content of reports sent under "My reports".

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • providing the service and running the account – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,
  • security and abuse prevention – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR,
  • accounting – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR if applicable.

4. Retention

Account data is kept until the account is deleted. Logs are kept for 30 days, crash reports for 90 days. Complete the other periods.

5. Recipients

Hosting provider, e-mail provider, Cloudflare (Turnstile form protection), payment operator – if applicable.

6. Statistics

We use Umami, a statistics tool that uses no cookies and collects no data that identifies you. Remove if statistics are not enabled.

7. Cookies

We only use a necessary session cookie after you sign in. The chosen site theme is stored in your browser's storage.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes UODO).

9. Changes

This policy applies from effective date.
